To me, there is just NO substitute for the Publix shopping experience! I first discovered Publix when I moved to Florida in 2003. I quickly came to discover what the “hub bub” over Publix was all about in my new neighborhood. Shortly after my first shopping trip to my local store, I was amused to find out that I had been selected to mystery shop Publix locations through one of the companies with whom I was a subcontractor. THAT truly opened my eyes to the vision of Mr. Jenkins. Moving to Charleston, SC ten years later, I found myself working part-time at the Johns Island store. I absolutely loved it. My entire Publix experience has now come full circle and I, once again, am a loyal Publix shopper. Some of the staff at my Port Orange store are now my dearest of friends. So, YES!!! Shopping IS a pleasure when you shop at Publix.
