Prototype New Urbanism Community
Seaside is on the Gulf of Mexico about halfway between Panama City and Fort Walton Beach in the Florida Panhandle. It is on scenic Walton County Highway 30A.
A gentleman named Robert Davis decided to turn his family's 80 acres near Seagrove Beach into a brand new model for all Florida Towns. Seaside started to come out of the ground in 1981.
