On Top of the World is a large master planned 55+ active adult retirement community located on State Road 200 about 11 miles west of Ocala.
The community began in the 1970s when the developer bought Circle Square Ranch, a historic working cattle ranch of 12,900 acres. Much of the original ranch remains in operation.
