The Indian River Lagoon System is a 156 mile long body of brackish water that forms part of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway along Florida's east coast.
It includes Mosquito Lagoon, Banana River, Indian River and Hobe Sound. The system begins at Ponce Inlet and ends at Jupiter Inlet. There are many interesting and historic towns along the way.
