I have only lived in FL for 9 of my 72 years, but I still recall Donna in "safe" Orlando. Her winds forced a bicycle into a storm drain in front of my house, creating a pond that our parents struggled to keep the kids out of. Until Helene, every hurricane in Citrus County was measured by the "No Name" storm that did tremendous damage to the coastal area in 1993 that is still visible.
