Delray Beach is on the east coast between Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale. The city is on both sides of the Intracoastal Waterway that separates the Atlantic Ocean barrier island from the mainland.
In addition to the wonderful beach, there are many great restaurants and art galleries on Atlantic Avenue, the main east-west street through downtown Delray Beach.
