Aventura is located 12 miles north of Miami on Biscayne Boulevard (US-1). I used to travel on Biscayne Boulevard in the 1960s and the land where Aventura is now located was mangrove swamp and tangled wetlands.
Now it is an upscale community of about 38,000 people. Aventura is composed of several distinct neighborhoods, each offering its own unique blend of amenities and lifestyle options.
